Incorporating a Secure Mesh
The Wear Secure is an adaptation of the Wansbeck Secure, but incorporates a secure mesh to guard the restricted open area. This window is a solution that can be used within a low secure facility. This window solution has the provision to access all faces of the glass & mesh for cleaning.
This window includes an internal sliding sash which opens to a fixed position of 125mm, operated by staff to control natural ventilation into the room and locked off for safety and security reasons. When moved into the open position, the fixed stainless steel PolarMesh covers the open area for anti-contraband purposes. Because the window has only a small area of secure mesh, natural light is maximised.
