Low to Medium Security Solution
A solution suitable for low to medium secure facilities, this window was developed before the Humber Secure for high air flow and fully accessible glass and mesh for cleaning and maintenance.
The Tyne Secure consists of an internal sliding sash operated by a reduced ligature grab handle, along with an external side hung reduced ligature PolarMesh sash. The mesh sash allows for cleaning of the external face of the sliding sash. The internal sliding sash has the option to be locked at 3 positions (Fully Open, 125mm or Fully Closed) to allow staff control over the levels of natural airflow and temperature of the room. To aid safety & security of the window, there are no glazing beads.
