We were finally able to get our Polar Family together to have a great summer celebration. It was the first time we’d been together as a company since Covid hit, and we were so happy to see everyone. Things were made even better when the sun made a long lasting appearance (We’re based in the rainy North).
To help celebrate we decided to purchase a Basketball Game to get people from different departments interacting and mixing together. With the added bonus of an Amazon Voucher to the person who could score the most points (This definitely brought out some peoples competitive sides), but provided great fun for everyone.
We couldn’t have a celebration without food, so we called up The Striped Pig Company to see if they could help us out. They certainly could and brought their Gazebo setup to serve fresh Hog Roast Sandwiches with all the sauces and extras you could think of. And to wash them down we supplied everyone with Corona and Kopparberg (Both Non-Alcoholic of course!), along with soft drinks to add to create the perfect summer vibe atmosphere.
Also… what’s a celebration without music!? So we called upon our very own DJ Graham (Fabrication Manager) to provide a mixture of music from his personal vinyl collection. And I think everyone can speak for themselves when I say how great his set was. Graham has even got his own residential at his local pub from something he classes as a hobby!
This was the best celebration yet and things can only continue to get better. We can’t wait for our next celebration as we look to continue growing Polar & our family.
